Co-founder of Optimum Energy Group, Peter is a Chartered procurement professional with over 30 years’ experience in providing energy procurement solutions for leading organisations, across the private and public sector.
Formerly Managing Director of Xchanging Procurement Services, a highly respected global leader in procurement services, he also served as Chief Procurement Officer at Caradon plc and British Sugar, where he was responsible for a substantial utilities’ portfolio.
Peter’s professional credentials include being an Accredited Commercial Capability Assessor and Subject Matter Expert for the UK Government Commercial Function at the Cabinet Office. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (FCIPS), a past President of CIPS, and former Chairman of the CIPS Board of Management.
